    The first time I heard 'Desolation Row' I was seventeen. My family had just moved from Fremont to Hoquaim. We were living in a small two room apartment on the border of Aberdeen by the pulp mill.

    Dylan, on the radio, had roused my from my sleep. Is this dream language?
